I completely understandβ€”your bridal makeup artist has to be someone you trust. We’ll spend such a meaningful morning together, so let’s make sure we’re the ideal fit to bring your bridal beauty vision to life!

Your Beauty BFF

I believe every bride deserves to feel radiant, confident, and truly themselves on their special day. Makeup is so much more than a lookβ€”it’s about empowering you to feel like the best version of yourself as you step into this new chapter of your life. My passion is in creating a flawless, natural glow that complements your unique beauty.

Each bride I work with is more than a client; they’re a friend I’m honoured to guide through one of the most important days of their life. My approach to bridal makeup is personal, thoughtful, and tailored to you. From the moment we connect, I’m committed to understanding your vision, ensuring your makeup complements your style, and creating a lasting bond of trust. You’ll feel comfortable, heard, and completely beautifulβ€”because that’s what you deserve.

MyJourney

Award-Winning Makeup Artist & Business Owner

My love for makeup began at a very early ageβ€”weekends at the cabin were often spent giving my friends makeovers instead of enjoying the great outdoors (and yes, there are photos!). Throughout high school, I continued doing makeup for friends on their birthdays, dance performances, and even graduations.

When it came time to find a part-time job during university, working at a cosmetics store felt like the only choice. I began assisting other artists and freelancing on the side, and it quickly became clear to me that makeup wasn’t just a hobbyβ€”it was my calling. I made the bold decision to take a β€œtemporary” break from my degree to follow my dream and attend the College of Makeup Art & Design in Toronto, where I completed a diploma in Total Fashion Makeup Artistry.

After returning to Newfoundland, my bridal makeup business was born! The name Blush holds a special meaning to me, as it’s a nod to my mom’s family name, Lush. She has been my biggest inspiration as an entrepreneur herself.

Apparently, I couldn’t get enough of makeup schoolβ€”because I actually went twice! During the pandemic, an opportunity arose for me to work in the local TV and film industry. To fully pursue this new endeavour, I returned to Toronto to train in special effects and prosthetics, earning a diploma in Complete Makeup Artistry.

Since then, my business has grown exponentially, spanning bridal, commercial, and TV/film work. I’ve had the privilege of working with over 200 brides, seeing my work featured on major TV networks, in print magazines, at film festivals, in theatre productions, and even in music videos for some of my favourite musicians.

One of my proudest achievements has been launching my own line of lipsticks, lip glosses, and lip linersβ€”a project that’s been a true labor of love and a way to bring a little more beauty into your everyday.

Inclusivity is at the heart of everything I do. I take immense pride in creating a welcoming, judgment-free space where everyone who sits in my chair feels valued, celebrated, and seen. I embrace individuals of all ages, races, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and identities with open arms.
