Can you give me a quote for makeup services?

Of course! Please fill out this form so that we may quote accurately.

Do you offer on-location service for special events or just weddings?

Yes, we offer makeup services for any special event you have! We will come to your location on any day of the week. Minimum service numbers apply.

What type of makeup do you use?

We carry a variety of professional and high-end luxury brands in our working kit. Have an allergy? Just let us know.

Do you offer discounts?

We do not offer any discounts or sales on our on-location services.

Do you offer discounts if I have a large party?

No. We do not offer any discounts or sales on groups.

How do I know your artists are qualified?

Lauren is twice-certified from College of Makeup Art & Design and is dedicated to continued education in the field. All assistants or second artists have been handpicked and trained personally by Lauren.

What is your cancellation policy for makeup trials?

For in-studio appointments (including trials and makeup lessons), we ask for the courtesy of giving at least 24 hours notice for cancellation via email or phone. If notice is less than 24 hours, we charge a cancellation fee of 100% of your appointment total.

For on-location contracts, all deposits and retainers are non-refundable despite any cancellations. If you are within 14 days of your wedding date, the balance due must also be paid. No refunds will be honored.

Do you offer esthetic services leading up to the wedding day?

Yes! We currently offer select waxing, brow & lash services in-studio. For our service menu, click here.

Are you able to do a variety of skin tones and different ethnicities?

Absolutely! Lauren is professionally trained and has a makeup kit that can be used on every skin tone. We take this extremely seriously. We will never tell you to bring your own foundation. We got you covered!

Are you able to cover blemishes/skin issues?

Simple answer is yes. However, keep in mind that blemishes are raised skin, and raised skin you can’t “cover”. We can take out the redness and discoloration, but we can’t “flatten” it or change the texture of the skin.

Are you able to cover tattoos?

Yes! Absolutely. We are experts at tattoo coverage and waterproofing your tattoo coverage. If you have a tattoo that needs to be covered, please email us a photo and we can quote accordingly.

Please note that tattoo coverage can take as much time as an entire face, sometimes longer if the area you want covered is large. Tattoo coverage starts at $50 and up.

When should I wax my eyebrows before my wedding?

All waxing should be completed at least a week before your event to ensure the skin has the proper time to recover.

Why is the bride more expensive than everyone else?

The price of the bride includes lashes & a mini touch-up kit. We also build in the administration fee and travel fee to service your party on location. The higher price for the bride covers travel costs within a 25 km service area.

I just want you to service my bridesmaids. Do I still have to pay the higher bridal rate?

Yes. Your party will still be charged for one person at the higher fee to accommodate your party on-location.

Who qualifies as an attendant when it comes to your rates?

Attendants are anyone besides the bride. Bridesmaids, mother of the bride, aunts, grandmas, future in-laws, and even guests of the wedding wanting services. Whomever needs makeup service for your wedding day, we’d love to help.

Do you travel out-of-province to do makeup?

Yes, we travel! Please schedule a complimentary phone consultation to discuss options. Contact us here.

Do you charge a travel fee?

Yes, we charge $1 per kilometer, round-trip, for all locations that are more than 25 kilometers from Paradise. This pricing is subject to change based on the year of your event. All accommodations, parking fees, and ferry tickets must be reimbursed if applicable.

What do you charge for destination weddings?

Each wedding is different. We will be happy to give you a custom quote once we know all your details. Contact us here.

Can I work with you from long distance?

Of course! We work with a lot of clients from outside of Newfoundland, and even abroad. Everything can be easily done via email, phone, or Zoom.

Do I need to come into the studio to do a contract?

It is not necessary to come into the studio to do a contract, we can do everything via phone, email and our booking system, Honeybook. But if you feel more comfortable meeting in person, we will be happy to accommodate.

Do you have a minimum for on-location services?

Yes, we do have a minimum for all of our on-location wedding services of the bride plus 4 people, or equivalent rate.

What if I can’t meet the minimum? Do you offer just makeup for the bride?

No problem. We currently offer a bride-only luxury package. Please contact to inquire.

May we use a makeup artist from another service provider for other members of the wedding party?

We prefer not to work with other makeup vendors if at all possible. We want your look to be cohesive and consistent with the rest of your bridal party for photographs. If your group is very large, we will provide a list of approved artists to partner with.

How soon do I need to book my wedding makeup?

We can’t hold a date without a contract and deposit. The sooner you know your date, the better. We typically only book up to 18-24 months in advance. Once you have secured a venue and date, we advise that you should book makeup right after. We have great photographer recommendations as well, just ask!

Do you offer makeup for engagement pictures?

All of our trials take place in-studio, located in Paradise. The exact address will be provided upon booking.

What days can I schedule my makeup trial/preview?

Trials are typically available Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9-5pm. Some exceptions apply.

What if I am unable to make my scheduled preview appointment?

Things happen, we understand. We request that you give 24 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling. If you cancel more than twice, we will request a deposit to secure your services, which we can apply towards your service after completion.

Are makeup trials included in the price for the bride?

No. Trials are not included.

How long do makeup previews take?

Makeup trials are typically 60-90 minutes long and include a consultation with your makeup artist.

How many looks do I get in my makeup preview?

A trial usually consists of trying one desired look or style and a variation of that look.

If a completely different style/look is desired beyond that, we suggest booking another trial. We do not require a trial for a booking, but we do recommend them to you.

When do you recommend getting a makeup preview?

Trials can be done either before or after finalizing a booking. We recommend booking your trial for 2-6 months before your big day.

Can I do a makeup preview before booking?

Absolutely! If you prefer to do a makeup trial before booking, we suggest scheduling one as soon as possible, especially since we do not hold dates without a signed contract.

What should I bring to my makeup preview?

We suggest you bring a picture of your dress, makeup styles that inspire you, and makeup you don’t like. Our trial consult form can be found here. We recommend filling this out before your trial.

Feel free to bring your daily makeup bag of colors and products so that we may see the colors and textures you’re used to.

Can I bring friends with me to my makeup preview?

Our studio space is quite small, so we ask that you come solo to your trial. This gives us the time to really get to know your desired look, without outside opinions!

Can I bring my child with me to the preview?

While we love kids, they can be distracting during the limited time we have together. We ask that you enjoy this time for yourself and find a sitter for your precious little ones.

What do I do if I need to change any details for my wedding?

Give us a shout if you need to make any changes. We try our hardest to accommodate you but if details change close to the wedding date we can’t always guarantee flexibility with our artists schedules. Any changes made within 14 days of the wedding date are not eligible for any refunds.

Upon assigning the contract, we guarantee that our artist will be at your wedding. If there is an extreme emergency, we will send another member of the Blush team or another trusted artist to perform the services. This hasn’t been an issue thus far, and we will try our absolute hardest to keep it that way. If there is an issue on the wedding day, please reach out to us immediately. Contact us at 709-764-3330
